Ubuntu 9.10 'Karmic Koala' released
This was just released, and Ubuntu hasn't even updated their homepage yet.
Link to the download here:http://noncdn.releases.ubuntu.com/9.10/

Remember, it is really easy to run this off a live disk, so you don't even need to install it. That gives you a chance to play with it and decide if you like it.
Also, if you saw the links about running a Virtual Machines in last weekends Links To Keep You Busy This Weekend - 10-23 edition, you could always just open this in Virtual box. It would be like having it open in a window on your desktop.

Nice! I'm downloading Netbook Remix right now and will probably throw it on my 7" EEE PC tomorrow evening. I hope this is as big of an upgrade as 9.04 was.

Re: Ubuntu 9.10 'Karmic Koala' released
This is the best release ever. I've installed it with my Vertex 30GB SSD and it's blazing fast! And everything worked out of the box. Not one problem. And you get a popup install when browsing the web if you're missing any codecs or players. It's just so smooth.
One tip, install the "ubuntu-restricted-extras" package for general MP3 and video playback.
