Links To Keep You Busy This Weekend - Halloween edition
Running a bit late on this week's post, but was busy helping out with a Halloween haunted house. I got to be a pirate, so I made a giant 7 ft anchor, wrapped it to me with a bunch of chain, and got to scare a lot of kids. Tons of fun!

Universal microUSB Mobile Phone Charger Standard Approved - Man, I hope they get their act together and make this happen. I have so many left over chargers, both wall and auto.
Petman Walking/Balancing Robot Is Like BigDog's "Human" Master - We have a thread in the TG General section about BigDog (Robot video you have to see!!!), and it is a pretty amazing/scary project. Minox NV mini II makes night vision pocketable They need to just go ahead and announce the price and when/where we can buy.
Noctua releases nine-blade 140mm premium fan - All I can say is WOW. It is amazing how much research went into this fan, and I'm considering replacing my case fans right now.
ION 2 comes in Q4 2009 - I think ION2 and a dual-core from the new intel Pineview line will convince me it is time to pick up an nettop to use as an HTPC.

Upcoming Zinc-air Batteries Store More Than Three Times the Energy of Lithium-ion This do offer a lot of promise. Crossing my fingers here.
Intel Core i7 930 said to debut in Q1 2010 -This is supposed to replace the i7 920, and cost about $284. Just a heads up if you are planning an i7 build.
Thermaltake Launches Element V, Full-Tower Case with Optimized Cooling - Looks pretty good for about $169. Will keep an eye out for reviews.
