Re: Zune HD-opinions
I'll have to play the devil's advocate on this one...
I wouldn't say the "same". They each use slightly different screens (the Zune has a AMOLED while the iTouch has a LCD). The Zune only only as a few preset EQ settings and no customizable EQ.
If Wifi and litle time-waster apps are more important than sound quality or media features, then either should suit you fine. However, if you value media features (such as wide range of formats supported) and sound quality, I'd highly recommend looking at the Cowon S9 instead.Acreo Aeneas

Re: Zune HD-opinions
Yep, no problem. I would suggest trying them out before you buy, but you'd have a hard time finding a S9 user amongst all the iPod and Zune fans out there. God knows I haven't seen another S9 here in Chicago and often think I'm the only one with one.
A fair bit of warning, the default UI is nothing really spectacular and is pretty bland in my opinion. There are, however, several user made UIs for the S9. Of which, I personally use Aero's Ultimate G1 and Ultimate G2 (now in beta). The UI is also built completely in Flash 7 hence the easy customizability by end users.
The Zune and iPod Touch you should be able to handle if you know a friend/classmate who has one or are near a Apple Store or Best Buy location.Acreo Aeneas
