I know they are out there so what single card solution beats dual 8800 gt's,either ATI or Nvidia....doesn't matter. However my board is set up for triple vid cards.

An nVidia GTX 285 has slightly better performance than a 8800 GT SLI setup according to the comparison on Tom's Hardware.
