Logitech G500 Review
This just got posted on Maximum PC, and is a review of Logitech's new G500.
It looks like it is a good update to the MX510 and MX518 many of us have and love. I have to agree that there is a bit of overkill on the thumb buttons.

Re: Logitech G500 Review
Weird, how they state "only 5 buttons". I count more than that.
I see:
1. LMB
2. RMB
3. Tilt Wheel Left
4. Tilt Wheel Right
5. Tilt Wheel Down
6. Thumb 1
7. Thumb 2
8. Thumb 3
Practically, it has the exact same buttons and almost same layout as my MX1100, except with the older body ergonomics and the newer 5,000+ dpi sensor.Acreo Aeneas
