    When President Obama spends more money that we do not have on this and it fails to produce any results just like a lot of other things he has tried to "fix" in his presidency.

    It doesn't really require any Federal spending. But there is a Federal mandate to make the government itself IPv6-ready.

    A lot of infrastructure is available. But try getting an IPv6 address from your ISP. Even Speakeasy, which I consider fairly forward-looking, hasn't provided IPv6 routers and address assignments to its customers. Ask your ISP how long before you can get a block of IPv6 addresses for your home hardware. Ask your business's ISP, too!
