I was having problems with my beta client freezing my computer when exiting, but the new RC fixed that. And the new sounds are GREAT!

FYI: If you insist of having the bleeding edge client you MAY end up in a position where you can't connect to the server. I would certainly upgrade if you are having issues, but not as standard practice just because a newer version is available.
You'll end up like BF2142 players that upgraded their clients BEFORE the ranked server binaries were available and left without a TG server to play on.
