Sony News
Not too much out of sony so far. In fact, they just announced last week they were giving up on OLED, and some think they are going to drop the TV market all together.
But until they do, they have some nice looking sets, one they are calling a Crystal LED:

Word is Samnsung is going to unveil the Galaxy Nexus on the Sprint network which I'm mixed about.
And having tried eye tracking at work - have to say that I do not want. Everytime I used it my eyes would pour like Niagara Falls. It's cool for extra accessibility but there's no way it's going to replace my mouse and now way it's coming near me.

Re: Official TG 2012 CES Show thread
Now for a bit more about Vizio like I said I would earlier.
Engadget posted a bit about their tablet earlier, then updated the article.
Check it here:

Vizio reveals an image of its new 10-inch tablet... and not much else (update: there's more)
Not much there, but when you click on the source link, they send you here:

Ok, now I'm interested!
I would have never considered a Vizeo TV before, but they have been putting out some pretty good sound bars lately.
Looks like they have a new one of those to show.
But check out the other stuff like the Wireless HD Kit, Universal Remote (IS THAT A BUILT IN TOUCHPAD and Keyboard !!!), and a Blu-Ray with Google TV built in.
Can't wait to hear more about those.

Re: Official TG 2012 CES Show thread
The Samsung Google TV box + Blu-ray player looks like what I've been looking for. If it's at $200 or under, I'll probably be getting it. I'll just have to wait til summer, though, for it to release! The remote for it (the Vizio looks similar) looks really awesome and has a lot of features. I just hope it'll work well with my Insignia (Best Buy brand) TV! The funny thing is, my remote for my Insignia TV can't be programmed to control my Insignia Blu-ray player. So I'm juggling three remotes (cable box, TV for input switching, and Blu-ray), plus I also have my laptop hooked up for Netflix and the such. I control it with my phone. So it's a lot of stuff, and I'd like to simplify it.

Noticed this article today, it could bring some interesting concepts to the PC gaming devs, Kinect hitting Windows in February.

Re: Official TG 2012 CES Show thread
It's official:
Sprint to get the Galaxy Nexus
As a Sprint subscriber with an older phone (Evo), I'm actually kind of disappointed in this. Had Sprint gotten this phone last summer I would have upgraded in an instant. Now they're going to be releasing a phone that's already 8 months old with even better stuff coming down the pike for next summer. Unless I can get it for hella cheap I'll be holding on to my old clunker till August.

I think you are confusing this mate, the Galaxy Nexus is my current phone and it only released here in the UK ok November 22nd and in the US in December. Get it it is an amazing phone, I have used iPhones for 3 years and will never go back.

Re: Official TG 2012 CES Show thread
I thought it came out like last summer in the UK. You guys think it's worth it with all the powerhouses supposedly coming next summer? I've read rumors of quad core maybe 1080p phones.

Re: Official TG 2012 CES Show thread
I got my galaxy nexus the day it came out - Friday, December 16th on VZW. It is most certainly not 8 months old... and yes, it is most definately worth picking up... I LOVE mine, and even moreso after I rroted it (within an hour of getting it home. lol)
