Ok, so whenever I play BF3 with TS open I get massive input lag. My FPS does not drop but my mouse movement becomes very jumpy and rubberbandish. Without TS open BF3 is smooth as butter. I have no idea, I never had this problem with 2142 or BF2. Any ideas?
Sounds to me like it's a bandwidth issue from the devices to the computer. I once tried running a bluetooth mouse, keyboard, and headset-- and the mouse would lag like you said. Are your headset and mouse wired USB? If so, is it possible that they're plugged into the same USB hub? It might have trouble putting all the data through (plus any other devices plugged into USB) through a single hub. Try using ports in different parts of the computer, like maybe plug the headset into one of the ports on the front of the computer, and everything else on the back.
Depends on your computer, and if it's not a laptop, I really don't see it being this-- it just sounds similar enough to the issue I had while using bluetooth to try.
ok so for system info:
64 bit windows 7 pro
x9650 @ 3ghz
soundblaster x-fi titanium fatality edition
Headphones are pc350 plug in's
I only have the keyboard, mouse, printer, joystick for USB's and they all plug directly into the PC, no hubs.
I don't have anything extra running.
I checked all of the drivers and updated TS yesterday but it did not improve at all.
I'm going to try completely removal and reinstall tonight.
I'm also going to install on the main drive, as of now I had it installed on my old velociraptor.
