What games are you playing on it?
Can you link the card where you are buying it from. I found that card on amazon for $205. If you can afford it the 2GB 6950 is a much better buy at $260 and will give you some future proofing. That card can also have its shaders unlocked with a bios flash to make it a 6970. I would recommend that. I used to have 2 6870 in CF but only 1gb of vram and they suffered for it. Whatever you decide , make sure it has at least 2gb.

I will definitely look at the 6950.

Does this looks like a good go for this one? http://ncix.com/products/?sku=61903&...X&promoid=1069

    Thanks for your help.

Yeah, I'd definitely go with the XFX 6950. Here's a TechPowerUp article on how to flash it.

Due to the xfx having a non standard PCB you will have to do a little extra to unlock it. Definitely do your own research before doing it. I found this to be a more comprehensive guide

My 6950 is the first gen with dual bios. Flashed it on day one and never looked back. It shreds anything I throw at it. You'll love it.
