ati catalyst control center problems
Ok, i just finished my new computer and i installed all the drivers, windows updates, etc etc however when i try to run the ATI Catalyst Control Center it gives me this warning...

I'd say uninstall the drivers and control center then install them again. If you can't get into the control center, you won't be able to set stuff like anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering.

Google is king.
As for the sound card, make sure you're plugged into the right output and your headphones aren't damaged.

Well, there is a sound manager that i guess installed with the sound drivers, and when i play with the 3d test i can hear sound but in everything else nothing happens.
suggestions? nevermind i found the problem.. i feel real stupid now.. I've got about 3 different pairs of headphones at the desk and i plugged the wrong one in :\ thanks for the help guys Last edited by jackel; 12-06-2004 at 07:27 PM. |

I found the CCC to be absolute crap, took my system 5x longer to boot.
I use Omega's drivers exclusively, they've worked much better for me than anything of ATI's I've used. Radlinker also supplies all the setting options without, as Overlag said, "the bloat". |
