I thought at first you were being sarcastic.... but if you are being serious, winxp's will work, but there are free alternatives if you are not happy with it. if you need one, I have a few free ones that I dont think are available anymore.....

but yes, just go to printer and faxes, then set up faxing. you will probably need your winxp cd.

Dead serious, man... I can't believe I didn't think of just using a long cord...

Man, this is what I hated officers for doing when I was a comm tech. They always wanted to use new technology even if there was an existing solution that was more practical/dependable/economical...

Unless you have a favorite application that just puts WinXP's fax software to shame, I'm going to just give it a try with what's already built in. If I can't get it to do what I want, I'll post back here.
