I didn't say CRT's bother me, and I run all mine at 85hz or better. I just said that LCDs are easier on my eyes, and that I can notice flicker at up to 60hz, which is why flourescent lights sometimes bother me. I work with my office overheads off, with a small lamp providing indirect lighting for my desk so that I don't have any glare off the screen either. I pay a lot of attention to my work environment. I use a Kinesis Countered keyboard (highly recommended; eliminated the pain I sometimes developed in my wrists and forearms after a day of typing), and spent considerable time adjusting my chair, keyboard tray, and monitor to proper heights. im ok with CRTS above 85hz... any lower and i DO notice a slight, i dunno flicker... 60hz will give me a MEGA headache within 10minutes

Refresh rates on TFT's are totaly different though, 60hz wont flicker at all.

All TFT's will ghost unless its under 16ms refresh (about 90hz)
