    The 3dMark2003 Post

    It's a new year and time to take a look at 3dMark scores again! Post your scores and a compare URL. Posting the specs is optional (since you can see all that stuff in the compare url). [Admin: sticky please]

    Here's mine:

    3DMark2003 score: 6462.
    Specs: P4 3.0GHZ, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9800 XT

    This is stock everything, no OCing at all.

    More impressive than that I think is the score of 5482 I got on my 1.3GHz system:

    AMD Athlon(tm) Processor 1342 MHz
    GPU: ATI RADEON 9800 XT
    412 MHz / 365 MHz

    Not bad for a fairly slow CPU (sorry, I'd give a compare URL, but only 1 published score is allowed at a time).

    Note I dont realy like 3Dmark03, as it doesnt realy test the whole system anymore, so a PIII700 with a 9700pro will get the same score as mine (basicaly). PcMark03 sucks also, its totaly Intel baised.......but thats another thread 3Dmark01 is far better imo.

    wow, I ran this thing last night, couple fo those game demos were crawling along at 1 fps. :shock:

    3 of the 4 game tests wouldn't even run on my system.

    My score was in the 3 digits. OUCH!

    ah! are you still running FSAA? most "benchmarkers" will turn off FSAA and AF, and put everything else on performance mode. (direct3d)

    Even on my system, I was getting 4fps on some of those game benchmarks. So don't feel bad.

    fr1j0l3: Change that SE to an XT, and you will almost double your score.

    Nah, some of those test such as the Nature test and the CPU test will max out any system. Troll's lair in CPU mode is 2-3 fps on my system.

    Oh, yeah, turn off AF and AA. On my system if I turn on AA and AF and run the 3dMark I get around 3100.
