I see that quite a few folks here at TG have some incredible graphical signatures. I wanted to find out what tools people use to make them. Is photoshop the big one or are there others? How long does one usually take? Are you drawing many of the images? etc.

I tinker with pictures now and again for web stuff, so investing heavily isn't all that great for me. Hence, The GIMP.

photoshop is what most people use, unless you want fancy animation then you want flash. i use images i find on the web and from screenshots. usually you can get a good layout for a sig in about 30 mins to an hour. then takes quite awhile to perfect it. like the one i'm working on now

pretty much done except i gotta make a better background.
