Question Upgrading graphics drivers

i just reformatted my harddrive recently, and when i reinstalled steam it told me that my graphics card was out of date and needed to be updated (by the way, it is an Nvidia GoFX5700 on Windows XP Media Edition). I followed the link to their website, and everytime i try to download the driver updates, it says it cannot find any matching hardware on my computer, please help!

Re: Upgrading graphics drivers

Which website are you trying to download from?

I have an nVidia 5700... I just go to www.nvidia.com to download the latest drivers.

Re: Upgrading graphics drivers

Go to the driver section and pick graphics drivers. Then GeForce/TNT2 and finally your operation system. I think those will handle the GO chipset.

Re: Upgrading graphics drivers

Nvidia uses a UDA (Unified Driver Architecture) So as long as it's geforce2 and up you should be using the Forceware drivers.

On the homepage, go to Download Drivers button and then Download Drivers from there. Select the graphics driver and geforce and TNT2, then WinXP.

Omegadriver's and DHZeroPoint drivers are excellent.
