anybody use the "sound blaster audigy" sound card?

i've been looking for a driver for it since 2 months ago, no luck ANYwhere.

honestly, i don't know what i'm doing wrong here. anyways, i was wondering if anybody here would like to lend me a hand and help me find a sound blaster audigy for my sound card....much apperciation.

click support
click downloads
and then click the appropriate items from the lists.

You don't say what your OS is, and there are several different models, but for the plain SoundBlaster Audigy for WinXP the driver is here: http://us.creative.com/support/downl...ame=Windows+XP

tried that....and i'm ready to just let it go.......

but really though, i THINK there's gotta be some way i can do it.

theres a auto update feature on creative somewhere. it searches system for creative devices and downloads all new drivers for you.....

well, my comp can't even detect my sound blaster card in the first place...so that's outta the question.

I have an audigy2, so it might be different, but my drivers have serious issues installing properly if you don't install the creative software that came on the CD with the sound card first.

Oh, so its not a driver issue... its a hardware issue.

Did you just recently install the card? or was it working and just crapped out on you?

i just recently reformatted the computer and ever since, i haven't really used the sound card so when i started to use it, i can't find the driver for it.

Is this for your Laptop or a different computer?

also, if you run devmgmt.msc it will give you a list of all the devices in your computer
look at sound,video, and game controllers portion of the list... are any devices listed with an X or !
