Thumbs down New nVidia drivers make movies look bad

I installed new drivers just recently, and I am finding that my .avi and .mpg movies look like crap. The colors are all washed out.

Anyone else having this problem? I read about it somewhere, but can't find the link.

I cna't roll back the drivers, since bf2 needs the new ones.

Well, of course now I see Asch's post..

Still no solution other than rollback to the ones that came with the bf2 demo?

Well duh!

I have not found any other solution at the moment and this appears to happen to anyone that I've talked to. When something as apparent as this is done with new drivers, nVidia usually has an update out pretty quick.

I rolled back to 77.30 that came with the game.

Re: New nVidia drivers make movies look bad

I did a google search and think I found a solution. I have not tested it myself however.

This works and is quick.
I did it with the 'leaked' drivers a couple days before the new official pack was released.

Re: New nVidia drivers make movies look bad

Yeah when i got BF2 i also got a new nvidia card. When I start BF2 it told me to update my drivers but the game ran KILLER. Eventually I updated my drivers with the ones from the nVidia site and it made BF2 run like SHEEEOT so i reinstalled the ones my vid card came with. Moral of the story here.....IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT!!!

GET-ER-DUN!!!!!!
