I will be picking up my new rig in the morning.

An AMD 3500 Venice, on an ASUS 8SLI with a 7800 GTX videocard.

Oh man, can't wait to play BF2!

Thanks, my old trusty 4200 just saw his last action in Lomac.

I will be picking up a copy of BF2 tomorrow as well, so maybe in a week or so I will be online if I had the chance to practice a bit.

yeah, practice abit just to get used to the controls and the way things work, then come online and have a bash around, makesure you bring a mic!

Both, actually. BF2 has in-game voice software that will be all you really need to play, but TacticalGamer uses Teamspeak for some advanced strategic uses and for the primary means of in-game communication with the admins.
Don't forget the password, or how to set up some binds... I suggest a "next channel" and "previous channel" bind at the very least...

Just called the guys that make my PC, they are finishing up things now, so in an hour they will have things ready. Woot!

The b****rds!

They didn't have it ready so i said they should just install the mobo and the processor. I would install everything else. Turns out they built in the wrong powersupply. This one has a 20 pin connector and my mobo takes a 24 one.
STIIL NO COMPUTER!
