I was wondering what a good 400-500 dollar next gen graphics card would be, anybody know?

256MB 7800GTX.. or are you talking beyond that?

What do you mean by next gen? The next 2 months will see a few new high end cards released from both ATI (x1900xt) and Nvidia (G71) that will probably be around $550-600, while the current top of the line cards drop a bit.

Currently, top end in that price range would be 7800GTX and X1800xt.

I have a 256MB 7800GTX and it plays all games great. I haven't had a minutes problem with it.
