Some things to note are:
How does a socket 478 chipset support an LGA775 chip? How does it also support a PCI Express interface when AGP is its thing?
I assume the onboard GFX is disabled?
If they use a bridge chip for the PCIExpress to AGP then there is your bottleneck. If these things above are accurate then you need to ditch that Motherbard. They rigged that together so it will work but all the bridging and stuff is a major problem... This system was not meant to be altered, but left as an original machine.
Seems like you should have purchased top end parts separately. What do you think?
