Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: New Posts Forum Filter
AWESOME. Thanks for the update! I didn't realize how much I loved the script until it stopped working with the site upgrade.

Re: New Posts Forum Filter
Perhaps you're not excluding its sub-forums, where the threads/posts actually happen?

Re: New Posts Forum Filter
I would like a simple way to exclude forums when I do a search and they show up in the search results. Right now, the fastest way I can find to do it is to click on the forum name at the right, then click on the parent forum at the top, then find the forum in question and exclude it.
Possibilities:
- stick something in the search results lines to exclude forum
- stick something at the top of each forum when it is displayed to exclude the forum
Or is there already something there which I've missed?
This would make it much easier to set things up and correct for forums you've missed.

Re: New Posts Forum Filter
Do you guys use this regularly? This script makes page loads take at least 5 seconds, sometimes up to 20 seconds for me. I thought it would still be worth it, in time savings, but it's not. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?

Yeah, I've turned it off a while back - I've been meaning to open it up to see if there's any optimizations I can do....

Re: New Posts Forum Filter
Can't we do this in our forum profile options now?

Where is this option? In the User CP?
I do get long page loading times, averaging around 20 sec. But the New Posts page loads relatively quickly, around 5-8 seconds.
