    Yes they may offer PCIE 1x as well.

    yup, ive seen pictures of a sample card that has both PCIexpress x1 and PCI....looked rather strange!

    its a beta/alpha card id guess, but basicaly they flip it, it has no back plate (the bit you screw into the case). One side has the PCIexpress connector, the other a PCI connector

    Well, if it doesn't have a back plate, wouldn't that let all sorts of dust and stuff into your case? Or would you put the back plate on once you've seated the card?

    did you read my post? its an alpha/beta card for testing. Not a retail product...
