I don't know that it "makes a difference" but I do like the mouse for gaming. The adjustable sensitivity is very nice. The mouse definitely feels different than any other mouse and I personally don't care for it when it comes to general use but I use it regularly for games.

FYI, for any of you in the market for a gaming mouse, Razer's new Death Adder mouse is also available for order. It's $59.99 but I'm looking at one as a birthday present to myself in a couple of months. The initial reviews seem quite good.
Jaymind, I think you'll be impressed. I have a Diamondback as opposed to the newer Copperhead but the general functionality and design are very similar.
I thought of the on-the-fly sensitivity as a bit of gimmick initially but now I use it all of the time when playing POE2. If I'm sniper I dial the sensitivity way down to increase accuracy, run it medium when I'm infantry and run it high when using armor so that I can quickly scan all the way around.
I could never go back to a 'general purpose' mouse!

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
