Re: Good free ftp client?
I only use an ftp client for uploading stuff to my TG webspace. What would the benefit be for me to switch from Filezilla to FireFTP?

Re: Good free ftp client?
Hmm, but from what I found, FireFTP is a extension add-on to FireFox. It would interest me if it was also offered as a stand-alone client.

Re: Good free ftp client?
If you are getting everything you want from what you currently use, then there is no reason to switch. But if you are curious, give it a try and maybe you'll find a reason.

Re: Good free ftp client?
FileFTP for Windows, I love PirateFTP for Mac, of course it's only a free trial unless you buy it which is pretty cheap and worth it
It has virtual drop boxes, multiple tabs for both local and remote servers and more added onto all the features you're used to ![]()

Re: Good free ftp client?
Ok, I just noted two really handy features in FireFTP that I've never seen in an FTP client. I can upload a screenshot to some storage and then I can select the file and view it via the corresponding web link (in another Firefox tab), and/or, I can copy the link to it for easy posting to a forum (in another tab as well).
So this link below was made by: 1) clicking my TG ftp bookmark 2) selecting the fille and hitting ctrl-U to copy a properly formatted web link to the file 3) switching back to this tab and pasting the link http://www.tacticalsites.com/~icky/p...el_my_pain.jpg

I just played around with that feature and I think that's pretty slick.

Re: Good free ftp client?
Hmm, does anyone know if FireFTP will support FXP transfers in the future? (FXP = site 2 site transfers)
