Re: To Vista, or not to Vista?

i reverted from vista because of comp problems with Vangaurd and PB issues with Bf2142 (goto evenbalance.net and update PB manually to get it to work)

I had this same problem with 2142. You have to manually update punkbuster and always "run as administrator". Go to the punkbuster website and download the update. Add the BF2 exe into the program and click "check for updates".

Keep an eye on this thread: http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108615

He's having the same problem.

Sark! Thanks foir that link, it turned out to be an easy fix after all. All I had to do was right click my BF2 desktop icon, choose properties, compatability tab, and check the "run as admin" box. Vista rocks!
