You sound clearer then most. I haven't been able to figure out the magic combination. Some people report having expensive mics and sound like crap and others with cheap mics sound great. Who Knows?

Not trying to bring this thread back from the dead but was you issue ever resolved? b/c I have the same problem.

Hmm, I'll try Wave instead of Direct Sound then.

Originally, the problem never got solved. But I'll see if setting it to Wave helps any.
