is there a way to covert DVD file?
I currently have a connection where my 360 goes through a DVD recorder, then to the screen...so I can record 360 game play footage... I then have to connect my digital video camera to the DVD recorder, and re-record onto the digital camcorder, then hook the camcorder up to the PC and upload the video via a video editor...
Is there a way to simply open explorer, select the TS whatever file that is the video file on a DVD, and transfer it via software to a computer video file? That way I don't have to do the camcorder step, just convert then open in editor and make the video. Hope not to confusing. ![]() |

It's not too easy unfortunately, as all the companies that have tried to make it easy get sued out of business despite perfectly legitamate uses like what you are trying to do.

Re: is there a way to covert DVD file?
Ripping a DVD is really easy with AutoGK. It's mostly just button clicking to setup the process and picking the encoding bitrates.
If your 360 is close to your computer, it might be easier to get a TV tuner. It might be expensive if you're looking for something with component inputs. Just stay away from the PVR type TV tuners because they tend to buffer video, which will make game input response laggy. |
