    I did get the virtual IP address binding properly. I ended up creating a second NIC under VMware and using the IPaddr2 resource in Heartbeat to allow it to take full control over the new NIC and then the MS iSCSI initiator saw it just fine.

    It is cool and was a fun bit of research. Definitely worth playing with if you've got the time and incentive to do so.

    I've got twice the incentive and half the time necessary. Hopefully the latter will change when school starts up again.
