Vista Advanced Networking Evaluation Tool
The all-new Windows Vista networking stack includes some advanced features such as improved download speeds and face-to-face collaboration using Windows Meeting Space. To take advantage of these and other advanced features, however, your router has to support it (assuming you are behind a NAT).
You can verify what level of support your router provides to Vista by using the Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool. Check it out.
