Hardware upgrade

My computer is reasonably good, but I feel my CPU (Sempron 2600+) is somewhat of a bottleneck.

Upgrading my CPU obviously means upgrading my motherboard, which means upgrading my RAM, which overall means upgrading my PSU (370W just isn't enough...).

This is what I have picked out, please give your thoughts/suggestions:
I basically just picked the categories of stuff I wanted and chose the highest rated stuff.

Cheers.

Re: Hardware upgrade

You should look over the features you want in the motherboard. A lot of the extra cost comes from extra features, some that you may not need. For example, consider if you need SLI or Crossfire because you'll need a board that supports it.

Re: Hardware upgrade

I did chose a cheaper one first, but it sold out by the time I came to post this...

I think I will stick with my current selection. No harm in future proofing it, and all the others with high ratings are more expensive.

Re: Hardware upgrade

Here is a comprehensive review of the mobo, even though it is a year old and while the chipset was still young:
