Question How do I find my computer system specs?

I'm not really sure of my computer system spec(ram,videocard,processor,etc) and would like to find out.

How does one get a detailed list from off the computer? I have Windows XP if that makes a difference.

Re: How do I find my computer system specs?

start -> run

type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes)

Or for a more detailed list, go to control panel, system, hardware tab, then device manager (or right click on my computer, click manage and go system properties)

No. Stickers don't update when you change the configuration. Besides... if you have stickers on the box, either you applied them in which case you know what's inside, or the case came from a retail store, in which case we know what's inside... B-runs and seconds from the OEM bargain bin and pinball machine parts.
