Re: Gaming Mouse/KB
I see you've discovered it comes in the fake carbon fiber instead of the nasty teal green.
Still just one thumb button though. I really like mine, but I would prefer to have a second thumb button. |

. Have yet to play with it, but it feels very good and fits my hand perfectly.I also prefer two thumb buttons, but really don't want a wired mouse... there 's plenty of other buttons on it . |

The reason I dont use adjustable sensitivity is because bf2, like most games, allows you to set individual sensitivity settings for inf, armor, aircraft in game.
Enjoy your gear.

Re: Gaming Mouse/KB
Point of advice, I have the Logitech G7 laser mouse. I kinda like it but still there are times that I can tell there is a delay from when I move or click a button to what actually happens on the screen. I have had one other wireless mouse and the G7 whoops it's butt but still I kinda wish I would have went with the G5 instead. My next mouse will definitely be a wired mouse for gaming, by that time something better than what is available now might be out. What I do like about the G7 is the extra battery that allows you to play and have one charging at all times. You can swap the battery out really fast which I have been flying in PR and battery went completely dead. I was able to swap out the dead baterry with the charged battery and never crash.
As far as keyboard, I'm using an old Logitech Elite Keyboard. Really no issue with it but wanting a G15. Heard so many positive remarks on that keyboard I figure it must be good.

Re: Gaming Mouse/KB
wired mouses are where it is for gaming. a wireless mouse is best used for the office.i have a G15 and an MX 518 optical mouse. the optical uses a DPI of 1600 witch is comparable to a laser mouse. the mouse is 50 bucks the G15 is 100

Re: Gaming Mouse/KB
I use a Microsoft Intellipoint Explorer. Yea its wireless but it hasn't gotten me killed yet. And The battery life is just ridiculously excelent. I got it christmas 2005 and I have replaced the batteries maybe 4 times since. One thing I hate is how the scroll wheel doesn't click, making it hard to switch weapons with it. I bought a gaming keyboard, the Ideazon Merc but after sticky keys and system beeps sent me out of cover in front of an enemy tank for the last time I smashed it to bits. I don't thing its a design fault in the keyboard but rather something wrong with my computer. The keyboard had a nice layout which I was used to, very comfortable.
