But, yeah, like ednos said, if you don't know what they are, you probably aren't using 'em, which is too bad, as some of them will significantly improve the efficiency of the forums, perhaps even to the point that your latency is no longer an issue?

could try doing a ping with a higher packet size and leave it run for a bit to see if he is dropping packets since http uses bigger packet size than standard ping
ping tacticalgamer.com -l 1472 -f -t (the first part after the tacticalgamer.com is a hyphen and a lower case letter L) the -f will make it not fragment the packets and the -t will keep it going until you hit control-c to break. |
