    TS very quiet

In an effort to make arma play better than it does (crappily) I updated my audio drivers (well, sorta, turned out to be same driver).

Now when i key the mic in TS it does not respond if I have my mic muted.
Moreover, if I unmute my mic I come through very very quiet.

    Anyone know how to
    A) Make keying my mic work again without unmuting the mic. I don't want to hear myself breath all the time. Also, all other recording functions are fine, so I hear breathing very loudly (along with typing) despite barely coming through on coms.

    B) Make it so that I come through at a regular volume again.

    Re: TS very quiet

The volume thing is likely the "+20dB boost" option that pretty much every computer's sound mixer offers somewhere, assuming it simply isn't down-volumed for some reason.

I don't understand specifically the first trouble -- it seems normal to me that if it's muted it won't work and if it's on it will pick up sounds. Rephrase?
