Email spam virus

It looks like I've got an email spam virus. About three times a second I get a delivery error return from a bogus address on one of my domans. My virus scanner isn't picking it up... any ideas?

Root kit? Take the system down and scan the disk from independent boot media (like the Ultimate Boot CD).
