Who owns a Samsung Television? Feedback needed.
I'm looking for a new television and have narrowed it down to a few models and manufactures. The top of my list is Samsung. My main reason is that all of the TV's in my price range ($700-$1000) the Samsung appears to have the sharpest picture.
I don't have HDTV service yet but that may be an option down the road and I'll use whatever set I buy for my Xbox 360. Here's the model I've been eyeing: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Samsu...oductDetail.do Or if you can recommed another brand that you own please do.

Re: Who owns a Samsung Television? Feedback needed.
Oh, Oh! *raises hand*
I have the HL-S6187W. I've had it for about a year and a half now, I think. I love it. Makes a good monitor. The only issue that is soon to come up is that I'm going to have to replace the lamp assembly sometime in the near future. But, that's a very common thing with any older DLP set and I knew going into the purchase that I would have to. The good thing is you can buy parts direct from Samsung at www.samsungparts.com, and get them direct shipped. If it's available on my model, I may consider getting a LED lamp assembly instead of a bulb so that the next one will last as long as more recently made DLPs. |
