I really want an Isalnd with my TG fellows also would be great. However lets make it one with wine since that is a resource you need for happyness, then rest can wait but happpyness can't.

That's a good point, when are we all going to colonize on a island, or islands? We need to figure this out, because I am about to set up my second colony, and if we are going to any specific coordinates, then I'll send my ships there.

I think we should colonize a grouping of islands so that we're not all dealing in the same resource. This will make trade a whole hell of a lot easier. As for determining where...there's still quite a few TG'ers who are far off from colonizing anything. Let's wait until we're all well established enough and everyone is at least in the alliance before deciding where we will settle.

Yeah, I'd rather work on building my first city up nicely before colonizing too soon.

I'm trying to build up resources now to colonize that nice marble island next to me, tired of being out of marble. It takes a lot of resources build a colony. I'm not sure how you guys build up your resources so fast. Perhaps trading has done you guys well, I find it difficult to find someone looking for wine right now. I do imagine though, that later in the game wine will become a prized item, as it keeps happiness up.

***Currently looking for 64 marble to upgrade my townhall.

Well, true I suppose. Although you have to do a lot of trading to get every luxury, unless you are colonizing nearby luxuries (which is what I did). I am about to get another colony to move towards the crystal market, and I'll just trade for sulfur. I only bring up the colonizing to a section because I wouldn't want to build up a city just to tear it down later.

1:1 trading has been pretty successful so far, so I don't mind to much at this point.

I am about to colonize in the morning on a nearby sulfur island once I get the building material. I have already built my embassy and upgraded it to lvl 2. Diplomicize me for info and questions and what not. I'm usually around my computer a lot so it should be easy to get a hold of me.

At the start of the game I felt it better to focus on massing amounts of wood. Since I had friends around me for fair pricings of other luxery goods, I thought that two towns next to each other would make it very easy to gain wood and switch resources between them aswell as troops and such. This has worked well but would have worked betteron a wine island which in my opinion is the most important resource, if my people are happy then i can wait to upgrade.

As for islands we should pick now and get a foot hold. Then is a clan taking over the 1:1 isalnds at the mo, all the towns there seem to be called CLAW somin or other, but this may give us some friendly compertition so i would happily set off now, if folk want to join me. I will head for a wine island out there, if some one is coming to grab a marble island close by?
