Do inactive villages fall into the "Bashing" rule or no?

Yes, but I *THINK* they have to report it. The GOs might have means of detecting bashes.

Hah, I just checked and there are now a total of 6 inactive villages on my island and most of them still have active workers at the mill. I'm just running my slingers around raping and pillaging everything...LOL!!!

I noticed that so far I have only gotten wood as my loot (which is ok because I need a poop-load to upgrade our island mill). What levels do I have to get to to get luxury resources and gold as loot?

If they have it available and unprotected in town, you can steal it. Level 4+ towns typically have Wealth researched and are gathering LG.

i only started pillaging yesterday, but i feel bad when i do it (even tho is is people who arent donating) and they message me saying 'why did u pillage me' even tho i sent messages to every island town the day i started saying that they need to donate x amount of wood or i will do it for them...

A regular Robin Hood you are!

There is very little looting going on in my area on the .org server. Everybody is pretty friendly.

If you keep a watchful eye out and get lucky you can send you supplies out to sea before the attack and when it is over recall the ship.

Once you get another colony you can keep most your supplies at a secured sight and move them when needed to support your upgrades. Gold, of course, is always vulnerable.

Be careful doing this: an enemy blockade during a recall means that they're gonna be getting the goods. Conversely: always blockade harbors before attacking so they can't do this, and you will automatically pillage any inbound ship.

Right, you have to send them out before the blockade starts. Spy's can help alot with this. And if you are able and send them to one or more of your other colonies then you don't HAVE to send them back. You might even send them to an alliance memeber. Better they get them than your enemy.

But that brings up a question. Can you break a blockade with ships from another of your colonies?

I'm in the process of pillaging an inactive on my island. Dude has 115 people at the saw mill and quite a few at the sulfur mine. Wave 1 went in with 5 slingers, here is the result:

Wave 2 is on their way

EDIT: 2nd wave got another 178 gold, 14 wood and 2 Sulfur. Not gonna bother with a 3rd. No casualties at all though. Hahaha.

Thats not a lot from an inactive. Looks like someone else pillaged him before you did. Wait until tomorrow and send out another raid on him.
