haha damn. I may hold off on colonization till I get my town and army built up a lot more.

Also, I know where you could make some fat stacks of gold ikonic. This guy I've been pillaging has like 107k. I can only get like 178 per wave though

does level 1 palace give you ability to setup a colony?

if it does its only 635 wood.

does the colony itself cost? where can I see those costs?

I checked FAQ there is only breakdown of resources needed per building.

1250 wood and 12000 gold and 5 ships and 40 population are sent to your new colony the wood and gold are consumed but the population and ships remain intact
