Museum artifacts/treaties
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has researched cultural exchange yet? If you have, and want to go into a treaty with me (for museum artifacts) I will be glad to. I don't believe distance has any part in this, looking at the guide here;
http://board.ikariam.com/thread.php?threadid=1939
So, post here if you want to start a treaty!
Kulmar
Edit: Each artifact gives you +50 happiness. Museums can only hold 1 per upgrade (starting with 1), and each treaty gives you one.

Re: Museum artifacts/treaties
I got a treaty request and it confuses me. A guy on my island is apparently making a military alliance with another place. But they want me to accept or deny it? Also it says it would cost me 4 Diplomatic influence.
Not sure what the heck to do!

Deny it if you're unsure.

Yea, I'm not sure, but that doesn't sound like a good deal.

Re: Museum artifacts/treaties
yeah I denied it... looked like basically a treaty saying that another military could use my town as a waypoint or something.

Re: Museum artifacts/treaties
from the wiki:
Quote:
Military Treaty
As soon as you have researched Diplomacy (Seafaring) you can enter into a military treaty with the town of another player. Once the treaty exists you can use their town as a base for further military operations. However, you pay twice the upkeep for troops stationed there.
A military treaty costs the offerer 11 diplomat points. 2 diplomat points are taken from the player accepting the military treaty.
Tip: A military treaty is entered with a specific town. To use other towns of the same player as a base you need to form more military treaties.
