Population Growth
I just started trying this out... Does your population growth trail off even at the start? I noticed mine is falling. I was wondering if the balance between workers, scientists, and citizens is causing it.
I'm researching Wealth right now, I'm on an Island with Wine. I have a level 3 Academy and Town Hall, building level 2 Barracks right now, have level 1 Town Wall, Trade Port, and Warehouse. I have 16 scientists (max) and 5 slingers. I also have 2 cargo ships. I haven't done anything but keep to myself at this point. I have 340g, 2 wood (just used it all to upgrade buildings). My population is at 93/193, they are happy, but my growth rate is dropping, now at 3.05/hour; 5 hours ago it was at 3.25 or something. Any advice? I've read everything I could find, but no clear 'newbie' guide other than the one on the Wiki and I'm already past it and it was severely lacking.

Re: Population Growth
Yes, the higher your population rises, the growth per hour and the town mood tapers off. Building a Tavern (and a museum later on) boosts growth and happiness. Click here for all your tavern questions and info.
