Ikariam GreaseMonkey Scripts (Friends list / Score Finder) - Page 3

Hey guys, one of the guys in my group has made an awesome Friend's List. It sits on the left side in the bar and is expandable (no scrollbar yet so it does extend the page).

It sorts friends list by distance and has a display of their coordinates and their resource.

Attached SS...

Problem is it requires a special format on the friends list. So your current TG one won't work. In order to add a friend, go to island view, and highlight the colony of the person you want to add and click ('add') in the box. It'll popup a message asking you to confirm and type the friend name.

It looks nice and with the resources added its fantastic. It has one major drawback though. It has some hard-coded URLs that aren't necessarily true for every player.

True, it was built for use on the beta server... You could easily modify it for the other server...

Found this little app http://www.projectpluto.com/lst.htm it works like a charm!! It sits right on top of my browser and displays GMT ... Searched high and low for it and this little app IS EXACTLY what I think we are looking for.

Be sure to right click on the app and change it to GMT. See below....

Edit: I noticed on the Fark forum http://forums.lunarfark.org/index.php?topic=2247.0 that they noticed that if you refresh the page.. just for second you will see the time display which is actually GMT+1 instead of 0

So be sure to add 1 to the hour display from GMT... think this app is still pretty helpful as long as you add 1 to it.

question on the scores script: when it shows the gold score, is that the player's score level on the scoreboard, or is it the amount of gold they've acquired?
i know the army score being 0 means they have no defense and it's become a great tool for pillaging.

Their gold score is how much gold they have.

How would you modify it for alpha server?

*EDIT - Nevermind I figured it out. Open up the script in notepad and search(ctrl + f) for http://s2 and change the 2 to a 1

Anyone else having problems copy-pasting the friends list? It tells me the string is accepted, but it doesn't do anything...

I just wish there could be different scripts for different servers.

Cause I have the account on .org and gunner has the one on Beta on .com... wish we could have a friends list for each and just keep the ones we're not using at the time shrunk down.

Wow!

That Kronos script is kick a$$!

It not only shows you the time, it shows you your current build levels and when you hover over a building it automatically tells you what resources are needed and the time it will take to complete. It also works on mills. It has a plethora of information.

this should work. Just make sure you go back to the original. click on "manage user scripts" then highlight "ikariamfriendlist" then edit the page that it works on from http://*.ikariam.*/* -to- http://*.ikariam.com/*
