Is there a guide to...
the letters in () behind the name of a town? On my island there are towns with (i) and (u) behind their names. I am thinking that (i) might mean inactive but I have no idea what (u) means. Anyone else know?

Your are right (i) is a inactive person, however the (u) means they are set in vacation mode, once in vacation mode, they are safe for up to 48 hours in real time. They cannot play the game during this time either.
