Expansion and troops
So I just set up my first colony, yay!
But I can only seem to be able to send goods to it, I can not send troops or warships? Is this normal or am I missing something?

You can send troops, select your colony in the island view, then go to the town dropdown box and select the town that has your military, then click on the colony. You should have 2 options, Deploy Fleet and Deploy Troops.
Bear in mind that these Deployments are double upkeep.-F-
