Unattackable Towns?
I've noticed that there are lots of towns that have a little palm tree next to the town name (island view) and a (u) on the other side. I cant do anything except send messages to these towns. No pillage, no blockade, no trade, nada. At first I thought it was because they were low level towns under some kind of noob protection or something, but then I saw several islands with level 8-12 towns that had these markings and no pillage button. Any clue?

They turned on vacation mode...can not attack till it is turned off.
note if you turn on vacation mode yourself, you can not turn it off for 2 days...to prevent abuse.

Nevermind! I found the answer, it's "vacation mode". You have to essentially be AFK for 48 hours or more to prevent people from abusing it. But during this time you are completely immune to attack. Downside is that you also stop receiving resources from your towns, etc. and you cant make any changes to the town.
But if you have to go on a business trip or have to study for finals or something and dont want your town to get walloped while you're not able to play, it's a great feature!|TG-6th|Ferris Bueller
