I sent two cargo ships with a slinger each at a city with 0 military score. The battle report says the other guy was the victor. Both slingers were lost, I assume, although it doesn't explicitly state it in the battle reports. I thought it was a sure thing to plunder cities with 0 military?

if they have a wall it will take down a slinger most of the time.

Sending 2 slingers is a good bet. With Swordsmen, I just send 1.

Did you spy it out? If they have a level 4 wall, you're going to lose unless you send sieges or LOTS of spies to open the doors.
