    Ships: ram vs ballista

I'm able to build both. Should I go all ballista or mix in some ram ships?

    Ballista...better defenders, better attackers.

Ram ships are the slingers of the sea...utterly useless.

Okay, that's not totally true. They are the fastest ships before you get steamships so when you really need to reach out and touch someone they are a valid option. You just have to build a crapload more than you would of the more powerful ships.

    Flamethrower - Assault Ship
    Ballista - Defense Ship
    Ram - Cannon Fodder/Fast Response
