Thanks for getting me on the list. I'm really enjoying Ikariam and I plan to establish my next colony close to a TGA cluster.

What lets you build an embassy? and are we all storming one island to gain its resources and all or are we more of just going off and doing whatever so colonies are all split up?

You have to research Foreign Cultures, which is under the Seafaring research category.

I haven't stormed anything yet, but I'm hesitant. From what I gather, you're free to do things on your own with caution. If you need help or encounter a bump in the road, you can ask for help from the rest of TGA.

Also, I couldn't access the coordinates thread someone linked to, I don't know if its been moved or deleted or whatever, but here are mine.

Capitol: Shanios [19:33] > Kobol (Sulfur)
Colony: Urnautia [18:33] > New Kobol (Wine)

I notice that I happen to be one island north of Apophis' marble colony/city. Hello Apophis! Is there any one else down near me?

What colony should I send resources to in order to assist the expansion of the alliance?

I just started a colony on Alpha server so Ill be wanting to get in this as soon as I get a embassy. Coordiantes are 22:18 and towns Tsia if anyone would be willing to help out, Im surrounded by people who will probably be pillaging me soon.

Sythos. Don't upgrade your trading port (the one in the water with the trade ships in it) past level 1 and you shouldn't have much to worry about in terms of pillagers.

To you on the waiting list and all future members of TGA,

On my 4 islands my 4 embassies have all reached level 16. There is an enormous jump from the resource demands once you hit 16. At this time, to upgrade from 16 to 17 costs:

40,495 Building Material
17,608 Marble

2D, 3h

This cost applies to each upgrade to 1 embassy at lvl 16. 1 upgrade allows me to bring in one new member. At this time I am halting the upgrades on my embassies due to cost and am instead stockpiling resources to colonize a 5th island where I can start fresh with a lvl 1 embassy. This is going to take time, perhaps up to a week or two if things go well. There are parts of my empire that have been greatly neglected for some time and before I expand I will need to ensure that everything is in order.

The alternative to TGA is TGU which is also a TG alliance, much smaller, but maintained by a great group of guys. If you wish to wait it out, we will get you in as soon as possible.

I'll be hanging around. My second colony is going up as we speak, and its marble so I'll be able to help chip in with the marble costs. Just might take me a few days to get everything settled.
