It's in game currency. You buy it with your credit card, paypal, and few other options are there.

If someone local signs up for this they could start a material exchange service. Maybe with a 10% exchange fee. They would just need to be well organized and well protected. Maybe keep it to 1 exchange per person per day to make it less chaotic.

I can't believe they are putting this in when the game is still so buggy. After this gets put in I don't think people that don't pay can keep up with those that don't.

I dont understand why these webgame producers do this crap. It'd be better and more balanced if they simply charged everyone a flat fee per month. I'd rather have THAT then an elite few with buttloads of ambrosia.
Just charge everyone $3/month and be done with it... geez

I wish they'd get the free stuff bug free before they start doing pay stuff. Why would I even think about paying to play when the free stuff is bugged so badly??
